| The Meagan’s Walk Dinner and Dance Gala 2008 |

The 7th Annual Meagan’s Walk Dinner and Dance Gala took place on February
22, 2008, at the beautiful Liberty Grand, a beautiful and historical landmark building
facing Lake Ontario, within the Exhibition Place grounds, Toronto. The Dinner
and Dance Gala is the “kick off“ leading up to Meagan’s Walk on
Mother’s Day. For the 2008 Gala, weather outside was nippy, but inside
the atmosphere was warm and welcoming! Guests enjoyed a pleasant evening of fine
food, auctions, dancing and music. |

A theme for Meagan’s Walk is always “kids helping kids”.
Samba Kidz, with their innovative music style- singing, playing, stomping, swaying!-
entertained the guests. Also featured was the Etobicoke Collegiate Institute
Classical Quintet, a dedicated and talented group of senior high school musicians. |

Special guest singer, Canadian Idol ‘Top Three’, Carly Rae Jepsen, also
performed – her exceptional and youthful talent promises a sparkling singing
career for this rising star! |

Proceeds from Meagan’s Walk Dinner and Dance Gala support The Arthur and Sonia
Labatt Brain Tumour Research Centre at SickKids, and the Meagan Bebenek Endowment
Fund. |
